Our Family

We are John and Chrissy Talbot, the owners of Taste & Sea. John has been in the restaurant business over 30 years and the former Executive Chef at Creeds Seafood and Steaks in KOP for 22 years.

It has been our family's dream to own our own fine dining seafood, steak and libations restaurant in Delaware County, PA. Our love for food and fine wines, as well as John's passion for cooking delicious seafood and mouthwatering steak, is the driving force behind our new coastal-elegant seafood and steak concept.

Our name originates from Psalms 34:8, “Taste and See the goodness of the Lord”. Our hope is to exemplify this message to the community through our restaurant.

Meet our Executive Chef and Partner Charles Moronski. Chef Charlie has been in the restaurant industry since high school, where he attended the CAT Pickering Vocational School for 4 years and later went onto study at the North Hampton Community College, earning an associate degree in Business management.

Charlie's career took off in 2012 as the sous-chef at Creeds Seafood and Steaks in King of Prussia, under the tutelage of our own Chef John Talbot. In 2017 Charlie relocated to Rehoboth Beach, Delaware to take another sous-chef position with SoDel Concepts at Bluecoast Grill. In 2021, Charlie was promoted to Executive Chef at Crust and Craft Kitchen.

Charlie has stated, “cooking is his passion and being an executive chef and partner has been his dream.” Chef Charlie strives every day to continually build his kitchen team with a healthy and creative work environment – one that fosters learning and growth, all while creating consistent and delicious cuisine.
